Handwriting Summer Program
Our summer handwriting groups are designed for children who find handwriting frustrating, effortful, messy, slow, or difficult to organize. Through movement, play, games, and individualized handwriting instruction, children strengthen the underlying foundations that support handwriting while increasing ease and fluency and reducing frustration around writing.
Activities are designed to feel engaging, meaningful, and supportive of each child’s individual learning style and pace.

Designed for children who are learning early handwriting foundations and who find beginning handwriting difficult, effortful, or hard to engage in without additional support. Individualized strategies and adaptive tools are incorporated as needed to support engagement and make learning to write more accessible.
This program works well for children who are ready to participate in short periods of supported, play-based group learning, with movement, breaks, and support strategies woven throughout. For children who benefit from more direct, individualized support, we also offer 1:1 occupational therapy services.Early handwriting readiness and foundational skills
